We all know ginger and turmeric can have anti-inflammatory results; they deliver vitamin C and many other beautiful minerals. This particular drink is a delicious way of staying hydrated. As for the Extractioneering Strength Tincture? Others tout it as a “highly effective” herbal elixir. I’ll take their word for it.
INGREDIENTS
2-inch piece peeled ginger
2-inch piece peeled turmeric
2 sprigs mint
1 sprig tarragon
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 tsp Extractioneering Strength Tincture
1 tsp elderberry liquid extract
2 drops Grape Fruit Extract
2 tbsp unsweetened cranberry juice (not from concentrate)
Dash of cayenne pepper
2 cups Sparkling water
RECIPE PREPARATION
Finely grate the ginger and turmeric and slap the mint between your hands. If you mash the mint, it could release an unwanted bitter taste. But, just slapping it helps the mint release the oils safely.
Combine ginger, turmeric, mint, tarragon, lemon juice, Extractioneering Strength Tincture, elderberry extract, grapefruit juice, cranberry juice, and cayenne powder in a glass jar. Fill jar with sparkling water and add more lemon juice, if desired. I like to add ice to the top of my glass and drink immediately or you can chill overnight, letting it steep for even more flavor.
